Auxiliary posts do not require a degree or previous experience, which means that you will be able to learn a profession and develop professionally regardless of your previous training. In this category we differentiate between restaurant and hotel posts and park operation posts.
RESTAURANT AND HOTEL POSTS
- Table service assistant: Takes charge of the preparation of the dining room for the arrival of the client to the restaurant and to assist the waiter (sets and clears table, serves drinks, etc.)
- Self-service assistant: Takes charge of serving the client, operating the cash register at the end of the line and maintaining a clean dining room according to security and hygiene standards.
- Supercart assistant: The supercarts are small restaurants situated throughout the resort. In some there is a grill and the assistant will be charged with preparing and selling the product. In others, the product is already prepared.
- Kitchen assistant: Takes charge of making simple dishes, giving support to the chef. The kitchen assistant will also undertake the washing up.
- Floor chambermaid: This is the person responsible for cleaning and maintaining the rooms and guest areas of the hotels (making the beds, cleaning the toilets, windows, etc.). This employee has fixed working hours.
- Hotel assistant (groom): This person takes charge of receiving clients upon their arrival to the hotel, taking them to their room, and carrying their luggage.
PARK OPERATION POSTS
- Admission and parking: This person will take charge of managing and supervising vehicle and client entry to and exit from the park, in addition to attending them at the client service point situated in the Mediterranean area.
- Shop assistant: Has the typical roles of a shop assistant: helping the client, checking and replacing stock, operating the cash register, and maintaining the shop.
- Attraction assistant: This is the person responsible for security and for welcoming the client to the attractions. He or she checks queues and coordinates the operation of the attraction with the operator.
- Games assistant: Will be charged with providing the client with change so that the latter may take part in the skills and chance games situated in the Far West and China areas. He will also explain the game rules.
- Show assistant: This is the person charged with receiving clients at the different shows, controlling queues and help everyone to their seat. He or she will also help in the production of the show.
- Cleaning assistant (roads and walkways): This is the person responsible for cleaning the roads and walkways of the park and hotels. He or she is charged with the maintenance of the assigned zone, always maintaining contact with clients.
- Storage assistant: This is the person in charge of receiving and placing merchandise in the depots. A type B driver’s license is necessary.
- Bakery assistant: Takes charge of the preparation and making of dessert and bread products. He will also be able to carry out distribution throughout the various business units. A type B driver’s license is necessary.
