Greg Norman
Greg Norman, the famous Australian golfer known as The Great White Shark, is working on the ground on the design and development of the North and Centre Courses of PortAventura. Norman brings extensive experience to the project, following a long professional career which has turned him into a worldwide golf symbol. Born in 1955, his passion for golf started at the age of 15, at the hands of his parents, who introduced him to the world of golf. What his parents could never imagine is that he would become one of the best golfers in the world.
In 1976, at the age of 21, he had his debut as a professional player, and since then he did not cease to receive awards, such as the British Open Championships, the U.S. PGA Tour, the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open, in addition to remaining at the top of the Official World Golf Ranking for over 331 weeks.
